Alyssa was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM, and is an urban planner interested in sustainable communities through the integration of green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) and in ensuring access to affordable, walkable communities. She has a dual Master's in Community and Regional Planning and in Water Resources from the University of New Mexico. Alyssa has always had a deep passion for climate resilience, cultural preservation, and accessibility to housing, transit, green spaces, and more. She continues to conduct research around sustainable and adaptable communities, which she hopes to continue to integrate into her career and local community.
