Benjamin a Vietnam Veteran served this country from 1969 to 1975.  He attended Manhattan Community College in NYC and received an AS degree in Respiratory Therapy.  Benjamin worked in many hospitals throughout NJ and NY.

After retirement, a desire to grow spiritually grew strong; for 2 years Benjamin joined Positive Proof Ministries, which led to his studies at Newark Evangelistic Revival Center.  He became an ordained Elder.  For 27 years, he lead the Protestant services at Sullivan Correctional Facility in Fallsburg, any.  2016, he relocated to Albuquerque and became involved with issues of homelessness at Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless.  Benjamin desires to advocate more for the homeless by equipping himself with knowledge regarding housing.
