I am a member of Navajo Nation on the New Mexico reservation. I am employed with Santa Fe Community College for seven years as a professor in Indigenous Pottery. I have been a Navajo archeologist for twenty-years in the Southwest.

Literacy Volunteers of Santa Fe has been an extensive passion for me. I am currently serving as a Board of Director, going on three years. Literacy is the key for anyone’s future. If we do not express ourselves well, read accordingly, and write successfully and sufficiently, we are certainly underprivileged. To understand our paths to our future, we must address our world around us.
