Erica Renaud is the Sustainability Supervisor for the City of Santa Fe’s Conservation & Sustainability Division, where she leads initiatives focused on energy efficiency, renewable energy, greenhouse gas reduction, transportation electrification, waste reduction, , and climate resilience. She manages sustainability programs, grants, partnerships, and implementation of the City’s 25-Year Sustainability Plan and carbon neutrality goals.

Erica holds a B.S. in Environmental Resource Management, an M.S. in Sustainable Systems with a focus on Agroecology, and a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding, specializing in low-input agricultural systems and climate adaptation. She has dedicated more than 25 years of her professional career to developing organic and sustainable seed and agricultural systems. Her background includes farming, soil science, organic agriculture certification, and advancing equitable, community-based sustainability solutions.
