Jennie Lusk is a retired attorney who has lived in ABQ for more than 50 years and in the same little house east of Nob Hill for 35 years. Former executive director of the statewide ACLU,  legislative drafter who traveled statewide with the state’s Indian Affairs Committee, general counsel for the higher education department, civil rights bureau chief for the Office of Attorney General and assistant director of policy for the City of Albuquerque, most recently she was instrumental in finding zoning and funding for the pallet shelter site at the former Motor Vehicle Department site.
