Sara Lucero is the Development Director at Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless, where she works at the intersection of housing, health care, and policy advocacy. She holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Public Health Policy from Johns Hopkins University and has worked in community health settings in Tijuana and Washington, D.C., supporting individuals navigating complex health and housing systems. As the daughter of immigrants and refugees who grew up in a low-income family, Sara brings a lived-experience lens to her work and is passionate about advancing affordable housing as a foundation for health, dignity, and community well-being in Albuquerque.
